Try Restarting your DataVault (or, ask your IT staff to restart it for you):


If you have a virtual DataVault:

  • Go to the Start Menu, and start the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager...
  • Right-click on the timber-### dv, and choose Reset
  • Or if it's not yet running, choose Start

If ou are prompted by a Grub screen -- just press your Enter key.


If you have a physical DataVault (usually a small netbook)

  • Try turning it off, then back on using its power-button
  • Once you turn it back on, and see lights flickering -- you can walk away from it
